In the past, corrugated cardboard boxes were mainly used as shipping containers. Customers did not pay much attention to the appearance of corrugated cardboard boxes.
In recent years, people have gradually realized the importance of the exquisite appearance of the packaging and its promotional effect on the goods. Corrugated paperboard printing from the monochrome becomes more and more colorful.
Corrugated cartons generally take the form of preprinted preprinted paper, which is then laminated with corrugated cardboard.
The printing methods for the tissues include offset printing, flexographic printing, and gravure printing in various forms. The surface layer of offset printing paper is rich in layers, strong in color and good in quality, and is very suitable for short-lived and flexible personalized market demands. Most of the flexographic printing uses water-based environmental protection ink, which has the advantages of being non-toxic, non-polluting, and environmentally friendly. It is suitable for long-lived printing and can produce large-format multi-color corrugated cartons.
Gravure printing production efficiency, printing speed up to 150 ~ 200m/min, printing color number up to 4 to 10 colors, but also for gold and silver inks and other special ink printing. Because the gravure is made of steel chrome-plated electric gravure, the resistance force can reach 3 million to 4 million in India, which is very suitable for the production of long-lived corrugated boxes.
Preprinting methods have special requirements for facing paper. Paper often uses coated whiteboard paper, hanging pulp whiteboard paper, white cardboard, etc., which have advantages and disadvantages. Coating white paper has a good color expression, but through the corrugated board production line when the high temperature drying tunnel is attached, the paper surface coating will have varying degrees of change, affecting the graphic surface color effect.
White pulp paper can meet the high temperature requirements in the bonding process to a large extent. However, the rough surface of the pulp white paper can easily cause image loss and false printing, and the consumption of ink is also relatively large. White cardboard is the first choice for corrugated cardboard. It not only fully expresses the color effect of printed graphics, but also adapts well to the special requirements of high-temperature lamination processes.
In addition, the ink used in the printing of corrugated box paper should be selected with good heat resistance and good friction resistance. Otherwise, when the printed glossy paper is pressed and dried, the printing image will be drawn and the ink will be lost. Seriously affect the surface quality.
