Because there is a gap between the corrugated cardboard boxes in each layer, the buffering capacity increases, but it is more easily broken by each, so in the above formula, the sum of the bursting strengths of the cardboard boxes in each layer is multiplied by a coefficient of 0.95. The actual situation is consistent. The burst strength is not related to the corrugated layer because, on the one hand, the corrugated layer has much lower burst strength than the boxboard. On the other hand, because the burst strength is a static burst resistance, the corrugation layer has a greater buffer, and thus greatly Reduce its burst strength so that it is negligible.
